March Action in South West Rocks

Hi Guys!

Oh what a fantastic autumn we are having here at South West Rocks. I've spent a fair bit of time this week surfing at Back Beach in water about 23 degree's (It's as good as a bath). A couple of hours in the surf makes you feel totally alive (and not want to go into work...ha ha) Even the dog joined in. We have a Golden Retriever named Meg who has been body-surfing for about 3 years. Well, today she christened my Mal (Malibu surfboard, now decorated with claw scratches). She was awesome and caught waves all by herself, riding about 100 m right into the shore. She's definetely a cool surfing partner.

If anyone else out there have started surfing at the age of 40...come on and talk to me. Are you getting as addicted as I am?
